They are asking me to drop other on-sites and take up on their offer...but they aren't revealing the numbers. What do I do? I just wanna see the offer.
They dont have an offer if they cant share it with you. Put the ball back on their court and tell them to comeback when they have an offer
Do you really need to ask this question?
This . Op , you don’t have an offer yet .
That's just weird
Stay wary of companies like these
I'd also consider if I wanted to work for a company that is doing such weird sht. If the offer is competitive, there is no reason to hide it.
Sounds like they do want you, so I agree with all the above. You are in the position of power, so if they don't hand you out an offer, you keep looking. If it means they pull the offer back, then you did the smart thing. And you didn't even start to negotiate... So unprofessional of them
Mate, you don’t have an offer, yet.
Run
I was in a similar situation once. The startup said they were willing to give a competitive offer if I was willing to commit to them. I responded by asking for the numbers first. They said they didn’t want to be in a bidding war given that I was interviewing elsewhere too. I pointed out it’s absurd to expect someone to take an offer without providing offer details. They threw out some initial numbers which I said were inadequate and rejected them. tldr: red flag
Obviously you don’t do anything and continue interviewing until you get an offer you like.
Say ok and continue doing whatever you want
