Is it cheaper to eat chipotle everyday than buy groceries ?
I’m new to Salesforce but learning about this company's history it’s impressive just how big it’s getting. Can this company hit 100b in revenues and grow into a Microsoft-sized giant? Can it grow beyond just CRM and become the undisputed #1 digital commerce/marketing/ solution? (It seems like their commerce and marketing clouds have a lot of room for growth) And as a new employee, would the smart career move be to stick around for the next 4 years and hold onto my stocks while also being able to say I worked there during this crazy growth?
It can grow to $100bb, sure. It will need to branch out into new markets to do so
Lol there are much better companies for growth. Salesforce is old and slow. Sounds like they have been feeding you the ohana koolaid
The stock price certainly hasn't been slow.
I was gonna say lol, looks like you haven’t been following the stock market
No
Hopefully realllly big... but im also a shareholder and might be bias heyyyo
It can get to about 🌳 fiddy.
100 billion is a bit unrealistic - in the next 3-4 years I expect them to grow 2x. From that point onwards we don’t know. But one thing you should remember is they are not only an innovative company but they are a really good investor.
Salesforce is a marketing company - below average skill, old technology. Internally full of politics. Because of Marc there is some good will. Might grow for 2-3 years. Beyond that of it grows, it's a shame for tech companies..
Customers don't care about old tech or politics so long as it works.
Mind expanding on what you mean by "below average skill"? "Old technology" is true for some clouds (like Marketing cloud)but not everywhere
The MC cannot grow easily. It's a monolith and relies on SQL server. And when you try to introduce new tech that is non MS, it's an uphill battle.
MC? 🤔 is it market cap
