What you described is exactly what makes this country great. Abraham Lincoln said it like this “Stand with anybody that stands right, stand with him while he is right and part with him when he goes wrong.” I fought and bled for this country in war. The moment this country goes astray, I’ll be the first to feed the tree of freedom with the blood of tyrants. 🇺🇸
Wait, it hasn't gone astray? Hunkering down for Iraq the trilogy?
The US IS the tyrant. Look at how it has unsettled the entire middle east which was prosperous until the US needed oil. Or South America.
These white gun owners perceive correctly, as liberals currently do wrt trump, that your government does not always equal your country, your government does not necessarily always do right by your country, and your government doesn’t even necessarily represent your country. You can definitely love your country and detest your government and its actions. Equally so among conservatives, liberals, and everything in between. This isn’t even slightly paradoxical or logically inconsistent - OP, you’re just a tad too dense to differentiate between government and country. Kudos on the second rate attempt at being divisive!
How much can you really separate the government and the country though? One is a direct byproduct of the other. Both are connected, in history and culture. The only exception if a country was colonized and a puppet government was set up, but that doesnt apply in the US' case. If a government is terrible and acts terribly upon the rest of the world, how can a country claim ignorance? Americans love being "patriotic" and yet refuse to watch the news segment on the mounting death toll of civilians in the middle east. I was raised in this country, and I hate the shallow culture of the US. Americans are willfully ignorant and believe so strongly in their exceptionalism, that was only begotten by colonialism and wiping out the natives.
Why do we care about civilian death tolls in the Middle East? I cared about the civilian death tolls on 9/11. |🇺🇸 |
One of the pillars of a republic is that there are certain rights that cannot be taken away by a simple majority vote. Gun ownership is one of them. Also this country was set up so that the people will always be more powerful than the government
“this country was set up so that the people will always be more powerful than the government” 😂😂😂😂😂😂
TIL only white ppl have guns
Well duh Only white people are evil with their guns Minorities who disproportionately commit murders is just hate facts, you bigot Don’t believe this fact: “The vast majority (77 percent) of white gun deaths are suicides; less than one in five (19 percent) is a homicide. These figures are nearly opposite in the black population, where only 14 percent of gun deaths are suicides but 82 percent are homicides” Remember white people are evil because CNN and MSNBC said so.
I don't trust them. I've heard they are mean to kittens.
When was the last time Americans actually used firearm to fight against government? Gun nuts still live in the 18th century. American police are militarized and armed citizens' AR15 stands no chance against tanks and drones.
Pls take opportunity invest A series AR-Drone-15 (patent pending).
Libya had tanks and drones and it fell real fast.
Loyalty to the nation and the people is not the same as loyalty to the government. This really, really doesn't need explaining.
What makes this country great also makes it incredible scary to live in. Not that I want to live anywhere else but there has to be a better way. The right to beat arms is fine but not at the expense of the safety of our citizens.
Mass shootings aren't the problem. If someone shoots just me then I'm still just as dead. Noticed how 2ammendment ppl divert attention from run of the mill shootings. Guns are easy to get so ppl get shot, end of story.
Yeah nah.
Childish Gambino “This is America” 💯
This song is good and the subtext is powerful and it contributes much to the gun control conversation. It is deserving of its accolades and national attention.
America is on course to becoming the new Europe: stuck in the past, head in the sand, not changing with the times. Asia is going to eat it's lunch and grow taller before the big brother realizes who the real big man is.
America big penis, japan vewy little penis.
Chinpokemon is chimpokerrific But I always preferred Alabama maeown
^ this
Cute paradox Amazon. You missed adding - it really does put white people first. Imagine if all blacks and Latinos start carrying arms in open public where it's allowed , you will see a legislation the next day. The 2nd amendment is for white people and if you don't see that as it is then you are being dishonest to yourself.
