H-1b stamping at Chennai consulate
I heard there were some delays for processing h-1b at the Chennai consulate. Has anyone encountered delays for processing h-1b extensions processed via drop box ?

Yeah I had delays. I got it done in Jan 2018. Submitted for dropbox on 26th Dec 2017, got my passport with 221g on Jan 5th, attended interview on Jan 8th and visa was issued on Jan 16th and collected passport on Jan 17th. Unfortunately there were a lot of long weekends when I went for processing hence bigger delay.
