i recently got RFE on my H1 transfer.
RFE is around Beneficiary Qualifications.

i have around 13 years exp working in SW field
My bachelors is in Electronics( no masters)

Havent got the update from Fragomen lawyers on how they are proceeding on responding

Others who got the similar RFE , can you please update/weigh in on the best way to proceed?

Is expert opinion needed always? or educational evaluation good enough?

So previous work experience doesn't count for this purpose?

Previous work experience could help when providing an expert letter and edu evaluation. However, uscis is recently questioning the authority of those experts aka university professors, questioning their credibility to assert the previous work exp plus degree is equivalent to computer science degree. USCIS is recently taking a very narrow view about experts credibility saying professor knows nothing about practical industrial experience to consider work exp plus non XD degree is equal to CS degree. Who these officers think they are? Now days I feel going through the interview and getting an offer is much easier than getting ur h1b transfer approved.

Yup. There r a few MAGA officers in USCIS. But not all of them are that bad. The problem is these officers have full discretion to adjudicate cases even they are not technical at all and yet they can decide ones fate without having some quality control in the agency.

I'd guess it would make sense to assign after RFE cases to someone else to get more than one person's perspective. But logic isn't what they do

Seems standard. No need to worry. 13 years experience is more than enuf

Yup. My case was prepared by their paralegal. After getting RFE, paralegal left Fragomen and case was then handed to a Summer Intern paralegal. Holy f**k.
