H1 transfer: does employer get to know?
I’m changing ships and wanted to know if current employer will get to know prior to me telling them. Perhaps during background check or H1 transfer?
Employment verification happens via 3rd party. Lots of options. Most recent pay stub and the very 1st stub. You can redact the salary amount. Another - you can postpone the verification till your onboarding is complete. Immigration status has no bearing on verification. I didn't have to deal with visas. However,my recruiters would have mentioned it otherwise.
Current company will not know.
For BG check you can opt to do an anonymous check at your current company
