H1B Approved after 60 day grace period

I don't usually write a lot online, but blind has really helped me with some information when I needed, so it is only fair to contribute back.

I quit my job in early April for personal reasons (Almost decided to go back, depression, loss of family). Started looking for a new job after 30 days, however, nothing materialized and I applied for an H4 petition on the 59th day to remain in status.

Fast forward, the 97th day got an offer and applied for H1 transfer PP ( Have I140 approved), I was quite nervous and had second thoughts on getting approved without an RFE since my SOC also had changed. However, LCA was approved in 5 days, and in 3 business days, H1 petition got approved.

Please let me know if I can help with any questions.

My previous TC was 430k. Not everything was green when I started looking for a job. I gave about 18 phone interviews (mostly engineering roles), 12 onsite interviews and 0 offers. I got used to the rejection and decided might as well get rejected applying for the highest paying jobs. So, started applying to all the Principal, VP and Sr. Director positions. Then had about 14 phone interviews, 3 onsite and ended up with 1 job offer. So, got lucky with the TC.

Honestly, I got lucky with my TC. But, I'll share some background.

I have a Bachelors and Masters in CS. First 7 years I worked as a Software Engineer and then the next 3 years as an Engineering Manager. Realized, I enjoyed work more being an Individual contributor(IC) and leadership qualities are underrated when you are an IC. I got into a unique domain for the next 3 years which put me into a small group of a highly lucrative job function (15-1122.00).

However, what pushed me over the top was I contributed to multiple Open Source technologies in a significant manner, and not to forget (Solved 40% of LC hard) over 3 years.

If you don’t mind sharing, what is the domain? As the other person said, honestly forgot whatever I read after seeing your TC.
