H1B Status when taking a break/moving
Hello All, I am looking for information regarding H1B visa status, if I take a sabbatical (6 months to an year) or move to a different country (say India) for work (with same or other company I have H1B from) Will I be able to return to US? What will be the steps? TC:170k

Yes you'll be exempt from the lottery until 6 years from your initial H1 approval date. So you can easily back before then with an H1 transfer. (Not legal advice)
