H1B Transfer with Premium Processing

Got an offer from Google recently. I was told that the H1B transfer would take up to 8 weeks. I have travel planned and fear that I might be cutting it close. I requested for Premium Processing but the recruiter wasn't sure if it was possible. Does Google file for transfers through premium processing? If yes, whom should I be talking to so that it goes through Premium Processing? Thanks in advance.

Yes, Google is doing premium, using BAL legal team. But the 8 weeks includes prep which takes up to 6 weeks, and that’s why recruiter says so.

Prep work for filing takes 6 weeks? I was told 8 weeks was for normal processing and not premium.

Ya nobody tells u about prep work time. That's a crucial part which one should know

For me actual H1-B transfer under premium processing took 3 days. LCA application + other law firm process took 3 weeks or so.

Was it for Google?

You got approval in 3 days after filing H1B? That's really quick.

Changed my role from data analyst to Ux researcher ? Will that be a problem for H1b change of employer

When I transferred to a start-up, the legal process only took them two weeks to complete.
