Posting for a friend- I have a job offer from another company and my H1B transfer is in process. Now my team in current company is going through a lot of changes and I will probably need to move to a different team, which is at a different location in the same city. When I asked my current company's attorney if any changes is in needed in my current H1B, they said that they might need to do repost of LCA but no H1B amendment is required. Anyone in the same scenario or know if LCA repost can have any impact on the ongoing h1b transfer?
Updating LCA is the usual process if the new location is with few miles (I think 50miles, not sure though) and that’s what they did for me in the past. It doesn’t impact you new transfer!!
Thanks for the response everyone. He is trying to reach out to the new company’s immigration lawyer.
@Puliogiri - did you had any issues while transferring you H1B to a different company while your LCA at the current company is reposted in a different location. Please let me know

Seattle people, what cars do you have? 🙂
LCA is with DOL and H1B is with USCIS. Completely different agencies.. competely unrelated process. Can't imagine any impact.
But LCA is a precursor to the h1b transfer. You might want to ask the future company's lawyers about this...
Different LCA for different company. Asking lawyer is always good though.
