H1B transfer RFE

I started working at Microsoft on H1B transfer receipt on 12th Aug,2019. I received RFE on 8th Aug. It was too late because I had already given my notice with the previous company. My last day with my previous company was 9th Aug,2019. My lawyers recently told me that my RFE was because they needed proof of employment after my last trip from Europe ( from 16th June to 27th June). The LCA has my paystubs until 12th July, 2019. Why did I get the RFE even after showing 3 paychecks after my trip? Has anybody faced a similar situation? Any suggestions with what evidence I can present would also be appreciated. Thanks again :) If this goes into denial, will all my working days at Microsoft be deemed illegal?

Sometimes it happens. Resend the paystubs and if possible have the timesheets that you submitted during that period which should suffice.

Did u get the RFE letter forwarded from the lawyers? If so can u check what it exactly says?

No I didn't get the RFE letter. They are weirdly secretive about sharing RFE notices. But my lawyer told me this over a call.

That's weird. Just ask them straight forward in email.

I believe you can request an ‘Experience Letter’ of sorts from employers too. So maybe try asking your previous employer about this. It should mention your hire date and last date.

If this goes into denial, will all my days working at Microsoft become illegal?

No. That's definitely not the case. As per rules u r working legally based on the h1 application receipt
