H1B vs EB3 filing
Hello, I am currently in stem opt extension and my opt expires Sept 2020. I wanted to know what option would be the best for me. 1. I would be eligible for EB3 application and the priority date is current for my country. Is it better to wait and try for h1b next year (since i would not be able to go back to f1) or to start processing my GC? 2. My parents have GC and i am not married. So, i qualify for F2B preference for GC through family based sponsership (takes ~6years). Is it ok to start this process now? Or, will this affect my F1 status as well? Thanks in advance. I have 10 months left in my opt. So, i was just concerned that if labor and i140 doesnt get approved within that time frame, i would not be able to go back to my F1 status.
Why not do both?
But, if i start my EB3 application, i would not be able to go back my f1 status. So, i am not sure if i would have enough time to go for it as my opt expires on Sep.
Why do you think eb3 would fail?
