There has been multiple layoffs in the last 2-3 months - Uber, WeWork, HP etc. I am wondering if some H1B folks were forced to leave the country or are being very close to. Folks, who successfully found another job, how was your experience with Visa transfer process? TC: $380k YOE: 11
What about moved to a different country? It’s more than a binary choice you know. There r countries other than USA and India. Also 🍿
Friend was laid off and she is working towards her PhD instead of returning to Ukraine.
I haven’t seen anyone going back. Everyone stays
Yeah we can them illegal
I believe by mid next yr we might start seeing people leaving back to home country
Folks who had to go back, what’s were they companies you were laid off from?
I don't know why Indians fear going back to India when they have great companies that pay well. Imagine being from Pakistan or some other smaller and less developed country where you can count the number of good tech companies on your fingers.
You know the drill. TC or GTFO. Pretty sure all blind folks want to know your TC so they get boosted and study harder.
Alright Blind police, updated.
