H1b 2019 Premium Processing “UPGRADE” Rejected
A friend who filed for 2019 H1b ( filed in apr 2018) tried upgrading his application to premium processing after it was opened earlier this month. They rejected his premium processing request around 10 Feb and he got the reason last week saying “a decision has been made on your application, so we are returning premium processing fee.”. But his application is still pending and he hasn’t got an update. What does this mean? He works for a small employer and their lawyer has no idea what this means he just tells to wait. Please note his application(I-129) is still pending but his premium processing upgrade(I-907) was rejected saying a decision has been made which doesn’t make any sense since his application(I-129) is still in review. Any idea anyone? TC:200
Sometimes they approve or reject the application but not update the online status. When your friend upgraded for premium, the decision was made on the application, that’s why they rejected PP..The lawyer has to get the hard copy to get to the conclusion on application status.. you never know his application may have been approved..
But the thing is it’s been over 3 weeks, we got the upgrade deject reason last Monday(after 2 weeks) but still haven’t received anything related to the application itself.
He has to check with his lawyer..the notices goes to the lawyer’s office address and then attorney forwards to the company...if the lawyer didn’t received the notice still yet, the lawyers has to follow up with USCIS.. unfortunately your friend cannot do anything rather than waiting patiently until the lawyer gets back to him..

Can’t the attorney just call USCIS and ask? I know the worker can’t, but either the employer or attorney can call
They just say wait, apparently it’s not the top of their priority list.
OP you can create an account for uscis and add ur case number for tracking. I had the same issue when I tried to search case status it never showed latest status but when I log in and check I could see latest status .
Do you mean myuscis? Or egov? I checked myuscis and it has no update.

Check myuscis your status will update there. It took 14 days for us and it was a reject :(
Sorry to hear that. Mine has been pending now for more than a month after pp upgrade was done but no update. Case Status is also very old. What was the rfe about?
Wait for the rejection it may have been rejected due to a reason based on job description or minimal requirement
Premium processing was rejected not the application
That’s what Oracle is saying- application seems rejected and hence pp request is rejected too
