I am in the process of switching jobs and my h1b just got approved. Once I go home, which companies letter do I use to get my h1b stamped? The old one or the current one?

You'd need to carry both approval notices but stamp will be based on the latest one.

I think you should use the one for the company whose payroll you are on at the time of stamping. But double check with a lawyer.

@kgerag What did the lawyer say? I am in the saw boat. Also, will that cause issue while h1b stamping? As you will be joining new company after coming back from your trip and I assume you have resigned from your old company.
