So basically they are only going to premium process roughly 3-month (from Sep 10 to Dec 21) petitions that'll are not cap petitions…Once FY-2020 petitions are filed, I really doubt they will resume petitions filed after 12/21/2018..Very Sad
Well.. last year they allowed transfer petitions to be PP till September 2018 and stopped only cap petitions to be PP. Lets hope they allow the jan-feb petitions to be PP in next few weeks..
Some good news for people waiting for months! USCIS making sure everyone waits and no one gets it easy!! 🙄
We need to get used to normal processing I believe. No hopes on PP
The companies would now push 2019 petitions to join on receipt..
Yup agreed.
Normal takes 3-4 months as long companies are fine waiting that long
I doubt it will take 3-4 months now with PP being open. I don’t think they will focus on regular processing now.
They deleted the news? That page doesn’t exist anymore, did the just regret?
It’s still there, the link here is incorrect
just updated the link hopefully this works
What is the risk of joining on receipt? If my h1b eventually gets rejected then do i have 60 days or i have to leave the country immediately? When it gets rejected then is the status invalid since the day i joined or since i got rejection? Can anyone clarify, got different information from different sources.
I think you get 60 days.. but this is where u talk to a lawyer :) Risk is you might not get a job in 60 days
Can you not ask the new employer to file another H1B petition?
So what happens if the application was filed before Dec. 21st but RFE received in 2019? Can response to RFE be submitted through PP?
Yes
What if the transfer application is being filed after Feb 19th? It is still eligible for premium processing, right ?
