H1b transfer approved
Hi, just wanted to share that my H1b Visa transfer is finally approved. It was an extension beyond 6 years, non-tech role, and with a small company. The petition was filed at CA center in Feb and then premium processing activated in March. I joined on receipt, got RFE, and then approved. Also, we filed extension of H4 Visa which is also approved. Happy to answer any questions!
What was the RFE, and why did it take so long?
The RFE was about Speciality Occupation. We responded with a letter from independent professor so that worked.

What’s the validity for extension? 3 years?
Yes. 3 years.
What’s your role and your Bachelors degree in?
Fiance. Bachelors in Accounting and MBA.
How long does it take to respond to rfe?
Depends on two factors: what the RFE is about and the time your attorney takes to draft the letters. Mine took a month.

I think it is very common to have PERM in audit. I am sure you will be fine. Good luck.

When you sent in the response with premium, did uscis website show that they received your response with premium?
