H1b transfer for contractors
Hi I'm currently working as a contractor and I learned that my client is interested to offer me full time soon. At the same time, my employer has filled for my H1 and currently in rfe, will I be able to transfer once I get my H1 in Oct?
Opt stem waiting for rfe to get approved, employer lawyer is doing his job and I'm waiting if he/she needs any documents from me.
if approved on Oct 1st you will be on H1b then you have to wait minimum 2 paychecks from the employer who filed ur H1b and then you can file for transfer. In H1b transfer you need current employers parstubs (2-3). Don’t disclose to consulting agency about ur intentions.
True, they might revoke and hold off salary
Do I need to worry about my employer, they made me sign my current contract stating non compete that I cannot join client for 1 year after leaving them. Like is this even legit?
