Are H1b salaries competitive to non-H1b? Or typically lower?

I’m not H1b but wondering how useful the figures are for negotiations since that’s all public info

      LOL you mean like L1, right? Because citizens and residents sure as heck pay FICA (and technically FICA as a term covers both Social Security and Medicare as taxes)

      Gotcha. That's short term, right? New grads mostly? Nice deal if you can get it although you'll need to pay into Medicare for at least ten years or whatever it is if you stick around in the US. I assume most tech people plan to have enough in their 401k thaf Social Security is just a backstop

    use it as baseline as lca data is for minimum required salary. actual TC is always higher than whats mentioned in LCA
