I believe so, since it's basically been an expansion of resources and staff, it might change in a year, but HBO is dealing with the higher end programming, which means higher level processes for us in particular.

Depends on your role. Designers are pretty down due to management structure changes. Nothing much has changed for engineers except we’re hiring a bunch of people.
Sucks. Especially in the Seattle office. Avoid.
HBO as a company does not exist. It is now a brand owned by WarnerMedia. I believe there is some fear due to the merger. Demotions, possible firings are in the offing.
NYC office was very stuffy, fearful of merger. But I'm not eng so ymmv
