HR Managers

To what extent do you run background checks, employee verifications, education verifications when hiring candidates?

How fast you need them in? CEO says right now? Employed pending all above + I-9. You're in the next payroll. Decision is "democratic" and not a tyrannical command, then all above happens in about 2 weeks. Plenty of vendors do it all (one stop shop).

I'm not in HR, but this sounds like you're trying to see if they'll catch you on a lie/fib. More times than not the truth eventually slips and it usually leads to termination. When future companies call to verify your employment, your termination will likely be mentioned. not worth the risk of being blacklisted by a lot of companies for something small
