Is this just me or... Most of those jobs are already assigned to shortlisted candidates... It's like impossible to get even a response.
I get nearly every second week an external offer via LinkedIn and some of them are really serious UT internally the recruiters are not even responding back...
When I reach the hiring manager most of the time they respond as sorry some one is shortlisted...

Do you have any recommendations what I can do?

  • It is indeed something really stupid happening is the fact that talent gets lost in an algorithm and people that use them do not bother about the “weak signal” they only care to conformance to your model. Sad.

      Loosing sense of humanity. I think there are a little companies that improving their work culture, at least they exist!

    Why don’t you pursue the external opportunities? The effort to interview and switch jobs is the same.

    I feel that it is often true that the positions are opened pro forma AFTER the internal candidate is decided upon.

    My last 3 teams either had to create a position for me or it was even more informal networking/“reorg”.
