Disney will grab some market share

The next year or two will make or break Netflix’s continued growth.

My guess is 150$ by end of this year

It will be down further if Disney's new service doesn't face major hiccups. I know many who will switch.

I think Blind’s user base could be underestimating the breadth and depth of Disney fanaticism out there. In a particularly Disney way that wouldn’t apply to other streaming services.

I already cancelled Netflix in prep for Disney

Disney will take a peace of the pie.. tbh there aren’t that many quality shows on Netflix 🤔

I wonder if their subscribers metric was for only paid subs or if it included free trial subs as well? Because I heard they recently made a change in that you can’t use the same credit card to get a free month trial anymore (previously you could just use a different email and you were good). Maybe that’s why there was a decline.

126k not 800k

Intuit s2hc4r OP Jul 17, 2019

Correct. The 800k was their prior worst decline.

Always buy. This is very serious. Netflix is not too small to not innovate to pivot. It is laughable that people just look at a short span of time and then bad mouth a company. Netflix has strong fundamentals.

Strong? What is its competitive advantage?

I cut the cord on Netflix last year. They kept billing my credit card even after and I had to tell my card company to stop payment. Netflix has been in shit show for a while now. You don't become HBO just by pouring money into shows.
