If you go to therapy, has it helped you deal with your problems?
It takes years to see the effect. But it's still better than nothing. silent meditation helped me more than therapy. I introspected so much that I became my self therapist.

It helps you clarify and prioritize your problems. You still have to work on it. It’s a long road to addressing them, sometimes it’s a life long wound that can be managed, but not cured
I agree. I’d say it mostly gives you good tools to deal with things you encounter, and also a truly neutral person to talk things out with. Both of these points assuming you have a good therapist/counselor
