Have an interview with a company from the Bay Area. First round is through Karat. What kind of questions do they ask. The position is for a Senior Java Full Stack Developer. What kind of questions do they ask?
They asked me 3 graph problems. First one was easy next two were mediums. The questions were more like follow ups on previous ones.
Can you tell what Graph question did they ask?
Some medium tree question in three parts. The question might be on Glassdoor for Karat itself.
Do the questions depend on the company you are interviewing for?
It seems like Karat reuses the same stupid question
They asked me a question that involved parsing string input and using map/dictionary. The other question was a simple arithmetic calculator
I believe it depends on the company
This is dependent on the company I guess. After reading a couple of posts and then having my experience, pretty sure it depends on the company they work with. For me they started with pick 2 out of 4 categories and they ask miscellaneous things. Categories include frontend/web, debugging production and release process, testing, and one more can’t remember. They ask pure questions no coding. This was like 10-20 min max. Then they follow up with technical questions. Can’t remember what mine were sadly but one was a DP problem. I would say expect med/hard. 40 mins. Also for ours Karat allows you to redo so you can request redoing the interview if you want. Hope this helps.
Thank you for the post. It helps.
