Hawaii or Newyork
I am planning a week trip with my wife in start of December. I'm split in decision of going NY or Hawaii. Need your help to decide which one is better for a week of winter vacation

Hawaii for sure. New York could be fine if you are fine with the cold and are visiting around Christmas/new year. If you go Hawaii make sure to stay somewhere that doesn't rain crazy. Look at the satellite photos and stay somewhere that's not super green.
Which island should we visit. Its my first time and there are many reviews for all of them. Which one would be best for this season?
Honolulu is a nice first place to visit in Hawaii.

My colleagues were shocked when I went to Chicago in January, apparently it's not the most popular destination during winter time for some reason 🤔. Needless to say, for me the weather was pretty nice. Chill but not too bad.
I visited Europe in winters during Christmas. Surprisingly it was best decision ever. The streets were lit with amazing arts and it was full of colors, lights and amazing memories @ local culture. I was thinking maybe some fun will also happen in NY
