They suck to the worst possible limit. Have a high deductible which you can think of meeting only if you have a very big accident or something. Otherwise it's just like having no medical insurance at all as you have to pay out of pocket all the time. Vision benefits suck equally! You can have only one pair of glasses every two years! How could benefits suck so terribly for a big company like GE?

      Intel has high deductible also, but at least no premium. Rumor is that changes next year.

      For my company, an employee <5 yrs has to pay around 300/month which would mean the same 3.6k annual premium. However, there is no deductible or coinsurance.
