My company is in mid west and I work full time for them from Bay Area. I work in their completely new area called as digital innovations meaning touchscreen controls for devices, connectivity, apps, etc. Part of my job is also to train other 3 PM’s on team on how to be a PM and not just a financial number cruncher or customer relationship manager. So, I handle all the user requirements for their products as well. Oh btw, they only pay me for associate pm because they say it’s unfair to other PMs who have been in the industry for 15 years. Everyone is double my age and from this tiny industry. Project managers constantly talk disrespectfully to me as they think they should be the one handling user requirements. I also manage design contractors. My boss does nothing to make things clear. Apart from quitting or finding a new job, how can I sustain without potentially getting fired for all the wrong reasons. Btw I am on h1b too- so sometimes I feel they are using me like their cheap labor
Why are you leading a team of pm’s and making associate pm salary?
I wish I knew. They are exploiting me bc of my h1b.
Learn them how to code.

You owe nothing to the company. GTFO
H1B - Owes the company something... or they may say GTFO of the country. Modern day slavery
H1B transfers are still reasonably easy, assuming op has the skills.
