Help me evaluate Salesforce VP Engineering offer
Base: 280k Stock: 550/4 Sign-on: 50k I am ex-Amazon (8 years) and now MS (4 yrs). Current total comp is 340k (lvl66 pm). There is hardly any details on Glassdoor for VP.
Don’t do it. It is just a fancy sales company. All my friends there are 👀 for an out. Their stock is doing well, so maybe invest in them, but that’s it.
You should ask for double the RSU’s. Could probably get 100k sign-on as well.
Stock def. on the lower side, I'm on my way out (L66 Dev mgr) to a L6 in G. Your base is pretty good tho

VP 280 base? You should ask for 2-3x more
It’s a big upgrade from your current TC, why not? I think the bonus target is 30% for your level, so it’s another 84k in your TC
RSUs should be atleast a M. VPs are rarely low balled. 100K swing is understandable but not 1/2 a mil...which is why i think u r either a recruiter or may be trolling.
What is a vp level in salesforce? Is it same as Google or amazon or is it a bloated title in salesforce? I have heard director in salesforce is a front line manager.
