Help needed! Google, Microsoft, Uber referral.

Hello guys, I'm software engineer with more than 2 years of experience looking to move into more of a software development role. I recently passed the Apple onsite interview and they wanted to extend an offer, but I declined respectfully due to the fact that the role wasn't aligned much with software development. I am currently still interviewing with Apple for another SW development role. I have around 203 LC questions, with 110 mediums and 25 hards. I applied to Google, Microsoft and Uber within the last 30 days, but I did not get any emails back, not even rejections. I would appreciate it if someone from those companies could refer me. I know there is a website called repherme but I not trying to go through there. TC: Peanuts

Too stingy? Edit: just signed up to repher.me and realised the requesters don't pay any money 👀 pointless Why would you try not to go through there? Pretty silly stance to take when it costs you nothing. Literally no different to going through here Referrals at MS don't carry much weight

Dm me your lc profile for Google and it would be mine pleasure to give back to the community.

Also I have heard good things about repherme. Any specific reasons you don't want to use that?

Intel Feetcode OP Dec 8, 2019

Mainly because I tried it once but it didn't work. I have recently updated my resume so I just pushed a new profile on repherme, I will dm you the repherme link and you will get my resume, linkedin and LC profile. Thanks so much for your help.

What is 'I am a software engineer ... Move into software development role'. You are already in software development role'.

Intel Feetcode OP Dec 8, 2019

Software engineer is broader term. As you can imagine different companies define the role of a software engineer a bit differently. I'm not actually writing much code or designing any software systems in my current role, but I have in the past and I'm trying to get back to those 8+ hours coding and development sessions because it is what I love to do. Thanks.

8+ hours of coding. SDEs do the same as SWEs. Role is exactly same. The work depends on team and type of work they do.
