High Growth Startup, first review. Lead PM. NYC
My review is in 2 weeks, what should I ask for regarding TC/base? In Q1 we’ll be moving away from a flat product structure and Ill be a Product Lead which is one step above Sr.PM and one below Director. Startup ~2 yo fintech just raised about 100m currently flat product org (all sr level) now 200 employees, expecting to be 500 in next 2 years. me: 7 yoe total 4 as Pm came from starting my own company for 2 years been here for 1 year, employee 50ish (2nd PM) current TC: $130/options NYC

Let’s just say it’s trivial.
How can you get proper advice if the options are “trivial”. That’s part of your package, and supposed to be more substantial than cash
Given it’s a trivial amount, it’s not factored into the salary ask. I’m looking for salary advice given the options are worth a very small amount - let’s just say nothing.
