Once in a while I am trying freelance projects. Some of the postings are so funny that are worth sharing for everyone's amusement. Here is one. I will describe it in my own words, because the original is written in terrible English. The guy is looking for an expert level developer. He wants an implementation of FFT, written as 16-bit real mode x86 inline assembler in C++. The code should compile in Turbo C++ 3.0 (1991 for those who don't know) and run in MS-DOS. Additional requirement: you should use ALU. I.e. no floating point arithmetic. The most interesting part is the budget: $50. What do you think? Should I do it? 🤣
Totally. You will have a story to tell for years to come. I am sure you will have to spin up ms dos in docker
