Recently watched Travis Scott: Look Mom I Can Fly on Netflix. I’m impressed by his energy. Do people in tech like hip hop music? Who’s your favorite? If you don’t, do you have any perception towards it and coworkers who like it?

Love hip hop. Some coworkers are into it but I don’t think most are. It’s also very generational.

If you don’t use the word then you’re taking a work of art and appropriating it and that’s terrible. If you use the word then you’re a racist. If you don’t listen to hip hop then you’re an elitist and a racist. Please proceed accordingly
Hip hop has a huge misogyny problem - no artist can be successful without denigrating women / objectifying and hyper-sexualizing then. It’s bleeding into Pop as a result of Hip Hop’s mainstream popularity. I say this as an OG (I remember exactly where I was when Tupac got shot). EDM doesn’t have as severe of an issue w women.
