For FAANG, how many interviews out of a loop do you need to get positive feedback from for an offer? 5/6? 6/6? Would 4/6 do it if the 4 were really strong and the two no’s borderline?

- eBay eBayPirateI know you want answers now and are trying to calm your nerves. However, the interviewee is rarely a fair judge of performance during the interviews. You may have gotten softballs on the 2 "boarderline" interviews. You may have gotten 4 softballs on the other 4 after all but failing the other two. FAANG may all interview similarly, but the conclusion from the same interview can be wildly different from company to company and even interviewer to interviewer. My advice is chill out, relax, and wait for the recruiter to call. My guess is it is a no. You would have to be a rockstar simply because of head count demand at the current time. (Again depends on companies Google might be trying to fill they new Seattle location) YMMV
- depends more on the actual feedback. the committee does read it. if there's a common pattern that gets flagged that's more likely to lead to no hire.
- I have seen candidates with strong yes and no negatives not get any offer.
