Hiring Committee approved at Google - What's next?
Got the call today that I've been approved by Google's hiring committee at level 4. I interviewed as a Front End Engineer in Kirkland. * Is level 4 good? * What should I expect next? * What kind of salary can I negotiate for? * What kind of moving bonus can I negotiate? Need to move half-way across the country * Other tips? What don't I know? Edit: my current salary is $135k Edit 2: YOE (experience) is 14 years.
I would expect you to be L5 with 14 YOE
Were you in the L4-L5 loop? Ask your recruiter if you can get L5 with additional interviews. Congratulations on passing HC anyways
Thank you, that's an interesting idea. I had no idea what sort of level I'd be given when I began the process, so I don't know what the expected range was. I can check on that though.
Yeah, Google usually down levels so you might have to fight for it. Good luck on the next steps
Can you share the questions? How did you prepare? LC numbers?
Reading and doing leetcode questions. What is "LC numbers"?
You would need to say your current TC and YOE for people to be able to answer those questions
