I had a 30 min phone screen with the hiring manager on Wednesday,9/18 and it went really well. They moved quickly and said they wanted to schedule an onsite interview. A recruiting coordinator reached out to me on Friday,9/20 to schedule an onsite interview on 9/27 after I provided my availability. He asked me to fill up the travel info form to book my flight tickets. Two hours after I send the info form, He tells me that they are currently on a hiring freeze. Now,I am really confused and not sure what to make out this situation. Did anyone experience similar issues in last 4 weeks while interviewing at Walmart eCommerce?
There is an hiring freeze indeed, because there's not enough space for people to park their cars, or asses. Hang in there.
I saw other blind post which said they just got some new buildings nearby so they sorted the seating issue but still parking is an issue if you show up after 10. Is this the true?
Yes re:buildings and parking Idk about hiring freeze
