Hey - I want to be a better version of me. I've come a long way but have a long road ahead. My own processes have improved dramatically but I can do more. Considering hiring a 1:1 business coach to help me achieve my goals/refine my habits/build discipline. Worth it? Does anyone here have success stories with hiring a personal coach?
100% as long as you get the right one. An exec coach with real qualification is what you are after (not a guy who runs ads on youtube). Keep in mind that it'll be work and weekly homework so make sure you can invest.
Thanks for the genuine input. I see a coach as someone who provides input to enhance my performance or success with achieving my goals. Do you think it needs to be someone old with many years of life experience or someone <30 would be just as good? I kind of want someone that can relate to the millienial market and how to succeed with current trends but I worry about lack of experience and professionalism.
That's up to you. Most executive coaches and career therapists have years of experience and accreditation. They aren't necessarily old. If you prefer a Graham Stephan type that's up to you of course. My experience is only with trained professionals.
Depends on who. Has to be a right fit for you and your goals. Be choosy, dont just decide to do it and go with anyone.
Valid point. Thank you!
