1900 for 5 Years or 60000 miles. Worth it or no? How much does servicing a car usually cost?

- Sirius XM TySkwieos8Look at the maintenance schedule in your owner’s manual and compare what is required there to what is going into that $1900. You’re probably getting a lot of “recommended” unnecessary stuff in the quote or else it’s overpriced but it’s hard to know without understanding whether there is actually anything wrong with your car right now other than needing a 5yr/60k service for a Honda of a model you haven’t specified.
- SAP Chainsaw40Depends on the car’s current age.
No need at all to buy that with your new car, though. In the beginning, all you’ll have to do is maintenance as per Honda Maintenance plan. Mainly oil and filter changes, none of which should cost more than $80-100 (and that’s an expensive dealership).
- New / EngsparkedNew? If so a Honda won’t need any maintenance in 60k miles other than oil changes
- Qualtrics CNgv51If you live close to a dealership or maintenance location, it could be worth it for convenience. Otherwise I’d say not worth.
