Casually looking to upgrade, but not gonna buy while the market is still heading down.

To ppl who didn't - why not? Can you afford it but just holding back?
Couple of things. First thing, all my money is locked in the house so I could not invest. Buying a house yet is no guarantee that it will pay off later. My rent is lower then mortgage + insurance and other tax pay things from most of the condo or house owners. I will be responsible if something breaks and need to take care. Last thing, I changed my jobs quite often in the last years. my current job is in Sunnyvale, before sf and before Palo Alto. I donāt want a house in a crappy neighborhood or San Jose etc and a 3h commute every day.
I'm surprised even 1/3 of pollers are house hunting.. Great for the market
