$130K base
35K RSUs - vested over a 4yr period
Refreshers performance based
3-8% bonus/year (individual performance based).
Sign on bonus $10K

YOE - 4, Current TC $180K (Base + annual bonus + equity)

- What's the future of Houzz?
- Is Houzz going public anytime soon and is it profitable?

    Houzz requires 2 yrs service before any RSU can be vested... This is unheard of. 2 yrs!

      Even our great compnay AMAZON is far far better than that. Lol. Leave or let go or pip before 2 yrs, ZERO RSUs. Houzz is amazing.

      Even Shutterstock has the exact same policy. 2 yrs service before any vesting.

      That’s not true. The RSUs have a one year cliff where 25% vests, the remaining vest monthly over 36 months.

    I don't get why everyone says it's low without knowing about your circumstances. People have different experiences coming in, so don't index too heavily on what other people say is low or high.

    I don’t know what analysts are paid. But do your homework to get the confidence about paper money, such as:

    - Ask them to share revenue, growth numbers to get an idea of how business has done since the previous round of funding.

    - Also check how many times in the past have the bonuses been paid.

    - Ask about attrition rate.

      I just read that you have 4yrs of experience. The base is decent for that. The equity and bonus percentage are low.
