It's solid. Sure there are some bad cases but they get blown up in the news. Minor stuff is taken care of, just talk to service instead of go whining on Reddit.

How much did you pay to download edge?

I think you deserve it since it is a new level of stupid to say that "I have to deal with it" for edge when you have so many free options for Windows browsers.. I have worked for msft for 10+ years and don't use edge at home or work.

By the way I’ve had mine for 6 months. Not a single problem with it. Not even a rattle unlike almost every other car I’ve owned.

I've had mine for 7 months and sometimes the seat adjusts to my husband's setting instead of mine.

That's literally my only complaint - occasionally a seat doesn't recognize my butt.

Sounds like a simple bug if just 1 fob / phone present. File it, or make sure you grabbed the right one.

Many Tesla employees still feel that "tent" assembled car are the beacon of quality. If anyone has any brains then stay away from Tesla products.

Hey Asshole, the tent cars are as good/bad as the non-tent population. It’s very closely monitored.

It’s certainly not very good - mine was DOA and they ended up replacing the main battery. My friend’s headlamp stopped working in a month. But the problems got taken care of eventually and it’s a very fun car!

The bumpers falling off, missing screws etc worries me. I have some manufacturing experience and scaling a process is tough. I am not clear why the didn’t wait another 6 months before shipping these cars. Seems design is great and they needed just a bit more time to master the processes. They got a lot of bad reviews initially that I can’t see why it was with it.

A light manufacturing run would burn much less cash than manufacturing a full 5000 cars a week. They could have stayed lean and got this right. I think the initial bad reviews are costing them customers like me.

Which porsche? For whatever reason I have a personal goal to own a porsche, but I haven't determined which one I actually want lol. I can argue for any of a cayman, Carrera, or Panamera

For reference, drive a 2014 mazda3. I do value trunk space bc I play hockey and need to carry equipment, although a porsche could always be not the car I take to hockey

To your earlier point , maybe bad cherry-picked press and reviews is turning you off.

But we don’t have a demand problem.

People are beating down our door trying to get their Model 3. Whatever issues you have with your new car, mobile service will come to your house and fix it for free.

      I was being facetious.

Thanks for your PM, I owe you a serious answer now:

The car is NOT falling apart. But as you know, some cars will have defects and they are the ones that attract an unfair share of attention.

Assuming you get a bad car, mobile service will come and fix every last thing. No questions asked. OTA updates will fix bugs / improve performance of the car as time goes on.

      TL;DR- fuck Audi. Get a Tesla :)

People forget that you don't compare a Tesla with a Toyota. You compare it to a Merc or BMW.
