Been single for a while now, for going through life changes and figuring out what I want. It’s fine for me to be by myself bc I’ve had serious relationships and know what it demands to love someone. I’m happy with my job but get a little lonely since don’t have many friends in the Bay Area. It’s Sunday night, and I’m up for listening to some advice. What should I do? How can I build a meaningful social circle and eventually find a SO? Any actions I could take within the company, as in activity and interest groups to make friends? Don’t like dating apps btw. 29, 180k
Sorry, I don't date women with more TC than me
Sad, why?
Inferiority complex from men. Which is stupid. Be pampered for once, men.
Don’t ask suck questions here. All u will get are creeps hitting on u. Or. Sexist people making sexist comments or asking sexist questions
Depends on your expectations on him
What makes you interesting?
I’m a girl too. Blind sucks for girls who wanna try to date. Or tech companies in general
Let’s hangout! I am also in sf (am a single woman) we can meet guys together or just hangout. It’s hard to make friends here
Treat your personal life like a product. Ask you what you want and why. Then write it all down, put in the fire, and warm your feet while enjoying a good book. A SO is someone that brings out the best in you while you bring out their best. That best is purely subjective, so literally no one on earth can tell you where to meet that person, but if you know what will bring out your best, you can figure it out. For example, does a guy demonstrating patient love for the helpless, but not someone that risks their life, do that for you? Then help out at a puppy shelter in your spare time, not a pub near the fire station. If you want someone to keep thinking about work with when you get home, then just stay at work. It's absolutely something every one can find, it's just so personal that you have to discover your own angle and go for it. To be honest, going for it in the face of fear and failure is the most difficult part. That's why I half-joke that it's a product.
Thank you for this sincere reply. I totally agree and have been doing so. Was writing a poem yesterday and having a nice walk along the trail. Life is good and fair to me and I’m already happy.
