How do I get an interview at Facebook? (Mechanical Engineer)
My skill set and YOE seems very relevant to the position but can't even get a phone interview....

Who gets a reply by just applying these days? You either need to be referred or a recruiter reach out to you.

How does that work?
Post on blind you need a referral. Show why you deserve it, share your resume with the person and if they feel you’re competent they’ll refer you.

Well.. maybe your skill set is not very relevant to the position you are applying too. Also you don’t get a “referral” unless the person would lie about knowing you. You just get added as a “lead” to the system.
Maybe, but like I said, my skillset seems relevant. oh I see, well I would take a "lead" better than nothing.
What do you mean you can't get it - as in they rejected you or never got an email back?
