How do I meet a lobbyist?

Building an AI based startup that can be useful to lobby and political groups. Any idea where one goes to meet lobbyists?

We believe we can model politician vote based on the language in the law , etc. Lobbyists would still be lobbyists - think of this as an analytical tool / Monte Carlo simulator

Interesting, thanks for sharing - maybe not one politician at a time ( which is how they look at it I suspect) but when you look at an entire legislature passing a law or not, is definitely a Bayesian ( other forces/ bias) type probabilistic problem. I am sure the first one or two would laugh at me but I would love to be able to interview one or two of your friends.

I’ve met many lobbyists at trade shows and conferences . Not developer conferences mind you.

Let me get this straight, You have an AI based service to solve assumed problems of users that you are unable to locate/have never talked to..... Do you want a job at Google? Sounds like you are Director material to me!

Interesting how you can put the word Google in a backhanded compliment and it is somehow alright. That said yes, we’re developing the tech product and trying to identify the customer. What conf did you go to meet lobbyists? Thanks

There’s lots of political conferences start there

Search for law firms in DC and start connecting the dots on LinkedIn. Simple and effective. If you can connect with biz dev at Cooley in Reston, that would be another play.
