I aim to get my interviews done at g,f,a, and few more. I have heard about negotiations a lot and it requires competitive offers. That means I have to get results of all these interviews in close time. What should be the best way to schedule these interviews? Like all in a week or 2 week period?
Do Google at least a week or two before Facebook. Google team matching can take a long time, whereas Facebook can turn an offer around within a day if necessary. Not sure about Amazon.
Google can speed up the process and get things done in a day if you have competing offers. The last part is the most critical one.
Do not schedule your favorite company as the first one for interviews, because you'll perform better if you gain some interviewing experience first. In my case it took ages with Amazon. Their feedback loop for the online tests (I took 2) is very long. From the application day it took them 3 months to invite me for an onsite. Senseless, as I signed another offer before then.
Do all of them within a two week period, except google, which you should do 2 weeks before because they take fucking forever. Also, if you can, do a practice interview or two with a company you care about before the real interviews.
