How do you climb the corporate ladder?

It is depressing if you have a soul. But there’s great money to be made.
Imagine a room full of people. Would you cut throat of any of them, including women and kids, in less than 2 seconds if it benefited your bottom line? If answer is yes, start climbing that ladder asap.
keep in mind only the best “killer” wins if you wanna play the game. The rest...you no longer see them.

Keep changing companies till you get one where you are on an automatic escalator which elevated you to the top !
Can't discount luck. Having a boss whose coattails you can ride. Being in the right team at the right time. That and basically saying yes (or learning nuanced ways of saying no) to everything
Ass kissing or hitching your wagon to a rising star

Lots of self promotion, personal branding, and fierce willingness to throw others under the bus when convenient.
Need to know right ppl .... Don't be afraid to do favor .... Have climbed from offshore resource to VP in 6 yr .... It is possible ....
