How do you keep up the LC motivation

People on here casually throw Leetcode counts like 300 and even 1000. How do you guys stay motivated to solve so many? With job, gym and family in the equation, I find it hard to grind LC problems back to back. Often times I get stuck and sometimes simply too frustrated and mentally drained that I lose focus. How do you guys do it?? Sheer will power? I have currently completed 60 problems (half easy and half medium) and at my current rate will maybe hit 100 within next 2 months :((

Leetcode in the back of the uber to the gym.

I bike. I don’t have money to Uber to gym everyday. Plus I get motion sickness reading in moving vehicles

Many of them don't have families. Employers love those who can work their asses off with no constraints. Those who can, do it. It's not the end of the world for others. Don't get peer-pressured on Blind!

Can you tell if someone is on adderall?

How do you not?

Keep reading offers that others get. Keep looking at levels.fyi whenever you’re discouraged.

Bro we’re at SAP We get the lowest of the low pay and work on 1970s tech stack. Not becoming irrelevant is my motivation

SAP HoejoJojo OP Jul 14, 2019

TC and TS (tech stack)? 89K and HANA for me, both crappy

101k I’m in PE Edit: PE pays better than most areas in DBS but I also have zero life outside of work

By the way, don’t look at your current LC rate whe making predictions. Your rate is going to increase with the number of problems you do.

Yeah, this is a big point.

Increase or decrease? Usually one loses motivation with time, isn't it?

Twitch VLmy43 Jul 14, 2019

I am at 550 myself. Call/meet my friend who has done more than 1000 if I need motivation. I have a hard job and also family. So I timebox 1 hr everyday to code a few problems.

Neurocrine gomv61 Jul 14, 2019

For how long have you been practicing?

Twitch VLmy43 Jul 14, 2019

4 to 5 months

Prioritization

People get the misconception that you need to solve a lot of them. You don't; you just need to be able to solve most of them, and you get diminishing returns the more you solve.
