I have recently made a job switch. Everything is new from technology stack, language, domain, product. How do you handle first few months with such a change ? Also it's pretty fast moving. I feel like not knowing anything, a clean slate. And stuck at every single thing especially operational tasks. Any advise ?
Every time you get stuck, work the problem for 20 minutes. You can’t ask for help during that 20 minutes. But after 20 minutes, if you haven’t solved the problem, you have to ask for help.

What if you have to ask for help every 20 or so minutes?

Study your new companies systems and internal documentation.
Write down a list of questions as you encounter them. Book a 1:1 with the lead or manager. Ask everything you have and get most things out of the way. I found this to be an effective use of time for both parties since we'll both be focused for that hour or so.
