How does amazon promotion affect compensation?
I’ll be joining Amazon in nyc soon. Numbers look like: 162k base 100 RSUS Let’s say i get promoted in 3 years to L6. How would my base change? Does it go to the botrom of the L6 band or the middle? Would i get a big grant of RSUs?

You will go to bottom of L6 band. Base will increase by 10%. RSUs will depend on: bottom of L6 band TC, stock price at that time, your upcoming vests, and your new base salary.
So if I’m at around 245k TC, do you think my new TC would jump to around 300k with my new base and RSUs?
How did you come up with 300K TC?
