I mean - infra/internal cloud, CI/CD, pre-commit tests, etc. I hear at Google they are pretty good. What about FB, Amazon, other high-profile companies? I have to say our stuff can be pretty frustrating.
Google is awesome. FB is good but very obviously behind. Still much better than anything outside FANG last time I worked there.
I wish I had more hands so I could give these tools four thumbs down.
Apple is just getting started on infra 🙁
Amazon is terrible. Apollo is always down and the ui is a mess. Pipelines provide no support for testing your code, test fails, everything’s blocked. Brazil is ungodly slow and just the most awful thing ever. SIM has the worst UI imaginable why can’t we just use jira !! Aahhh I hate it here
I don’t agree with many of these statements subjectively, and objectively a couple of them are just false.
Amazon used to be good in 2010, now they lag behind and can't scale
Hit me up! We can solve all your infrastructure needs.
